New Rules of Golf 2019
Further interpretations of the new Rules 2019
The resources for committees to review their local rules and checklists to
ensure you are prepared for the launch of the new Rules of Golf in January
are now available on the R&A website here
We are also attaching a copy of the recent CONGU briefing note on the new
rules and would draw your attention to the statement on the new optional
local rule E5 providing an Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball
or Out of Bounds. Qualifying competitions cannot be run with this local rule
in place.
